“Earthquake”, “Osama”, and “Angelica” from the Rugrats program are names which relatives use to describe our Latin Beauty for this week, 21 year old Dyandra Freile Ochoa, a beautiful and exotic young woman from the district of La Guajira, on the northeastern peninsula of Colombia. 
Those are the nicknames Dyandra was called when she was small because of the mischief she caused as a young child. “I’ve always been very restless. I remember the Anthrax scare in the US, a disease caused by Bacillus anthracis, that someone purposely spread through the U.S. mail and so many people died, I was 11. I took to school an envelope full of Fab powder and that was a crazy thing to do. The institution was the prosecution, and the police. So they sent me to a psychologist,” she says with a laugh. This pretty, young lady lives in the coastal city of Barranquilla since 2007 lives with her maternal grandmother and her older sister Diannie.
This intelligent woman, described as determined, has goals she wants to achieve. She is a student of law and also competed in the Miss World Colombia beauty pagent last year representing the district of La Guajira, where she was voted the third best model for Colombia out of 15 semifinalists.
“The experience of participating in this competition is described as very beautiful. I grew as a person, I got to know women from other parts of the country and the role they perform in society. Also, I could grasp the value the men give to the women, “says Freile.
Dyandra landed in modeling by chance, after the designer Martha Redondo insisted that she go to the Gateway Agency. Since then she has participated in various parades and events of protocol . Currently Dyandra has stopped modeling for the most part while focusing on her education and career.
In her hometown of Riohacha, Dyandra loves the family togetherness that prevails. “Education and the relationships that exist in every home are different from those seen in another city. Families are very aware of each other, ” she says with total pride.
She also notes that that Riohacha is a small city but very quiet with friendly people, where everyone is known. “My ancestors are Wayu and I’m proud of that. Many people have a misconception of us, they believe that people are not nice, are messy and always with conflict. But they are wrong, we are a city full of folklore, music, beautiful scenery, a variety of dining and prepared citizens and workers, “confirms this women whose sign is Leo. We are sure this shapely beauty contributes to that “beautiful scenery”!
>The charismatic Dyandra maximizes her free time. Being pampered, getting treatments of skin and hair help to keep this Latina beautiful. “I also like going out and eating at a nice restaurant, watch movies, sit in a place where you can feel the breeze and talk pleasantly.”
In the short term Freile Ochoa aims to finish the year at the university, to continue growing as a woman and organizing her life. And in the long term she wants to begin her career by having a good job and prove that the beautiful women “are more than beauty, we are very smart and loving.”
Finally, our Latin beauty adds that after finishing her education she wants to take a year off to travel, experience other cultures and then return to her country. “I want to contribute to the improvement and growth of Colombia. As a woman lawyer and I know I’m capable of achieving great things. “
