After facing the “Challenge 2010: the Fight of the Regions”, a reality television show in Colombia, the coastal beauty Martha Milena Maturana Rangel feels she is capable of facing anything.

“I am going to Bogota to study action and theater in the academy Stock Models”, she told us during a photo shoot in a billiards hall near the Solitude Racecourse neighborhood of Atlantico, where her fame has been transcended thanks to the ‘reality show’ on CaracolTV.
Still, before her stint on the Challenge, Martha had always wanted to be in an amusing and fun program where she could express all the talent that she possesses.

But that is not the only talent Martha possess. Her first memory of childhood was dancing to The Sanjuanero .
Later on, when she was 13 years old, Martha enrolled at the Monica Lindo Corporation to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional dancer.

“Dancing carried me to the stardom in  2003.  That it was my year!”, confirms the beautiful Barranquillera.
And yes, was it. For the Carnival of the 2003, Marta Maturana was chosen People’s Reign now called Queen of Queens  “on behalf of the neighborhood Las Moras. Her skill in our indigenous rhythms made her a winner.

The day after being elected Queen of Merecumbé, Martha was presented with ‘casting’ to integrate the group of cheerleaders called Junior de Barranquilla and was elected.

Five months later, Martha was presented with a new opportunity, this time to be one of the dancers of Checo Acosta, orchestra in which she performed for five years. She also a dancer of the Group Bananas.

At present, Martha Maturana enjoys teaching dance to children and to adults; she also teaches at Colegio de la Medalla Milagrosa.

“Although I want to act, never will I give up the dance because that is was what carried me to where I am now”, concluded Martha.
